Pause

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
~Matthew 11:28

Sometimes I get so caught up in the business of the day that I forget to take time and just enjoy the one who gives us life, joy, happiness, color, beauty, freedom, health, family, friends, love ... and I'm sure the list goes on and on of the endless goodness that our Maker gives us. Things he gives us to remind us of his goodness and love toward us. So I grabbed this landscape image I took last fall not only because I think it's pretty but because it has nothing to do with being responsible but everything to do with stopping and enjoying the moment.

God bless you all in your walk with him today. And when caught up in the business of life, stop to notice what God has given you.

I would appreciate your prayers for me this weekend because I have lots of shooting and teaching to do over the weekend.

Signing off for today. God bless your socks off,

As the old song says, "His strength is perfect, when our strength is gone." May His all sufficient grace be yours this weekend! :D

  7. Beautiful photo! And a beautiful reminder. I needed it. I'm reminded of the saying: "Never be too busy making a living that you forget to make a life." We tend to forget what really matters in life sometimes.
