I missed it myself, but I guess my photo was on the new this morning at 7:45. My amazing cousin recorded it for me so I will post the clip as soon as possible. :) 

I think it's totally awesome to be apart of this! And completely amazing to think they are going to Mexico!

I just wish my wife and I could go too... maybe the following week. lol. 

But seriously, this victory is partly yours too, and Thank you all who joined in and got excited for them too and voted! That's great! I know they really appreciate everyone who got on and voted! 

Hmmm, next time someone says my photography services are just outside their budget, I'll just tell them that they could get a FREE trip to Mexico with my photos in which case they will come out ahead... LOL

A Valentine's day contest.

For those of you who didn't see my tweet or my facebook update about the contest I entered last week, here is the scoop. I was visiting my fiancé and her family over Valentine's Day and enjoyed myself very much! :) I took my girl out to her favorite restaurant, Maggiano's. And it was Everything my heart was hoping for in a first Valentine's Day together as a couple. It was simply perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. But here is the part that I'm actually writing about. The next morning I woke up and for some reason (I never do this early in the morning) decided to check up on my twitter account and see what was happening in my little world and came across this tweet saying to tell Maggiano's about my Valentine's day for a chance to win a $50 gift card. :)

Well, the pictures tell the rest. :)

Here is what I wrote in my tired state of mind... then promptly went back to bed. lol.

This was the awesomest news I've seen on facebook in a LONG time! lol. 

I got a lens extender from my older bro for Christmas so I could do macro stuff. This is hardly impressive for macro... I'll have to post some of those soon. But here is one. :)  

The letter I got with my $50 in gift cards. I couldn't have been more pleased! And I can't wait to take my girl back to Maggiano's for another wonderful and perfect meal. :)
