How I love details.

Just a quick post featuring some of the detail shots from Joanna & Greg's wedding. :) 

Joanna's dress was awesome! I loved the story she told of her and her Mom picking it out. :) 

As she told of the tears of joy they had once they realized it was the dress for her. 

I love moments like that where life becomes real and it's all too wonderful

and is hard to even believe. 

After shopping all evening a couple weeks ago with my fiance for a vest and tie for my own wedding and failing to find what we liked.... (Coming up Aug 20, 2011. So I'm booked for that weekend. lol) I have grown to appreciate good vest tie combinations... and this one is a good one! 

I sure love wedding photography! It's the best fun out there! 

One person who was coming to my April 13 Workshop in Chicago just cancelled their spot... so it's now open to the first runner up. (Only $200)

Also, there are only 3 spots left for my workshop in the Twin Cities. So if you and or anyone you know wants to come you better reserve your spot quick. (Plus, the price is only $350 instead of the $400 it was.)

Joanna and some of the details.

Joanna, if you don't know her you should! She's one of the sweetest and relaxed people ever! She's a graphic artist by trade so we had a lot of common ground. 

Did you know that I was a graphic artist for 3 years before going full time into photography? It was fun, but didn't compare to the reason I learned graphic arts. That reason being to learn and expand my understanding of visual communication in every way possible! I wanted to know first hand what I needed in a picture to tell a story and convey a message with powerful and emotional impact. Not to mention it's where I learned and in turn taught others how to use Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, InDesign and even Once upon a time I used Quark too.

I surprised my fiance this weekend by going to her home with my brother Konner. It was a blast! But I'm back and I'm ready to conquer the day ahead. :)
