Ryan & Annie week

So I have a ton of favs from Annie and Ryan's engagement session last Monday... but I can't blog them all at once... So I'm going to spread them out over the week and dub this week on the blog, "Ryan and Annie week." So I'll see you back tomorrow! :D

The cool evening glow of Chicago. You got to love it!

Sometimes, a photo like this could really be enough. What more can you do?
But we keep going because we have fun and like coming up with new and better things.

Can we say cute?

This is probably some of my favorite lighting situations possible right here.
This is exactly how I like to think of my style. Fun, Happy, warm, romantic,
and even the feeling that they are the only
two people in the whole world in this moment.

Drumroll please!

MAN! I love photos just like this!!
If you know me you know that this crop, tone, composition, lighten, emotion... is what I love!!
Yup, this is a personal fav!

See you all tomorrow here and on my Facebook page, and Pinterest for more photos everyday this week of Ryan and Annie's engagement session.

Today is your BEST day...

I wanted to write a short bit out of a favorite little daily devotional that really got me excited. It's call Today is Your Best Day (Devotional Journal). It's a simple short one a day kind of book. It's not a make you feel good message but really does just point you to the truth of who we are in Christ and who Christ IS for us and is a reminder of WHY today is ALWAYS your best day! I can't even tell you how much this book has encouraged me and I hope you get a copy for yourself!

This is a quick bit at the end of the chapter from
Today is your best day Because of the Cross

Jesus' Death on the cross has also made is possible for this day to be your best day. He took your sins upon Himself so that you could be forgiven; so that you could receive eternal life; so that you could be justified; so that you could have peace with God; so that you could be His bride' so that you could know Him, love Him, and serve Him; so that you could carry the hope of heaven in your heart today.

These are just a few flowers I found in my yard. :) And I liked this one as a abstract kind of happy feel. lol. Only the edge of a single petal is in focus.
