Jen's Senior Portraits

Just two days ago Erika and I had a blast doing Jen's senior portrait session. We love doing senior portraits... as you can see why. It's fun, creative, and we like to think we have more fun doing it than anyone else in the world. :)

This is the most place I can put this on this here post... but it's late and I feel like putting a link somewhere... so here it is, a link to my Pinterest. You can repine all these photos from there if you like or feel free to pin these yourself. Happy pinning!

Can you tell we are stoked about this session?? Yeah, we had too much fun.

We just wrapped up our first workshop for the year. And here it was a blast! We sold out on spots here in Cleveland OH. And what a great group it was of photographers! I'll have to post photos from that soon too. But tomorrow we have another engagement session... so we will see how swamped we are. lol!
If you would like to join us for a workshop be sure to check them out here on my website

Rob Bennett

It's Rob's turn now. Welcome to my blog, Rob. HAHA.
Okay, so like I said in an earlier post last week, Rob didn't come along
on the shoot to learn anything about photography from me.
He's actually teaching himself. But rather to pick up
some helpful tips in Lightroom. I'm so glad
he came though. He is always helping me out with
things that I have no clue about. He's a very well studied guy
when it comes to a lot of things. Especially when it comes to electronics
and tech support.

Rob and I go back farther than that. We both used to work for the same
non-profit organization for a few years and had a lot of good times together. We were even
running partners for a summer. It was great. We had a nice little 3 mile track
mapped out that we would run every day after work. I loved
running after work. I found it so refreshing. Just to clear my head of everything
and get active after sitting at a desk all day long.

Rob had the coolest idea for keeping rain off his camera. Just a simple clear bag.
I think it was something like a large bread bag. I was very impressed.

I know I already meantioned this yesterday but I'm thinking about doing another workshop on either May 1st or May 8th. If you or anybody you know would like a chance to improve on your  photography and photo editing skills, please pass the word along. If one of these dates works better for you than the other, let me know asap. I'm only going to accept 5 students. I want to keep  the workshop personal and fun. And small enough that everyone feels comfortable to ask any and all questions. Contact me for more information and to let me know which day is better.

Jack McDonnell

Here are a couple
images of Jack, from the workshop I did.
Jack is going to go excel in any area he chooses. He has a lot
of diligence and takes advantage of a lot of little things
that others might overlook or disregard.
He's a go-getter too.

He drives a really nice big truck.
Believe it or not, this truck can go 65 MPH in second gear...very impressive (inside joke!).

I love rain now. I actually can't wait for the next
photo session I have in the rain.
Talk about amazing reflections to be had.

Bokeh in the background... I love it!
