This totally made my day!

So I just had these two images ordered by their mother in 12x12" just a couple days ago and today I got this in my email. Check it out! It totally made my day! I'm seriously stoked right now.

"OK, I don't want to get overly gushy and emotional here,
but I opened up the package with the
pictures of Drew and Kyra and had to hold back some tears.
They are so beautiful, Britton. Wow. Again, thanks a ton. I'm in awe of your gift.
Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Linda Bisarek."

What do you say to something like that? That probably took her like 5 minute to write but it's going to bless me for a life time. It's going to keep pushing me on to perfect my art and only heighten the love I have for photographing people and capturing their story....

Kyra was one of the cutest little gals. Totally stealing the show. Would you believe it if I told you that her mother didn't order this photo? lol. It's okay. It's was for me.

He is our help and our shield...

"Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
For our heart is glad in Him,
because we trust in
His holy name.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you."
Psalm 33:20-22

My Brother just left for the Asia CI

A lot of you might remember a series of blog post that I did about a trip to asia a month or so pasted. Well, if you are interested in keeping up with what's happening on that trip this year you can follow this blog. (http://thechroniclesofci.blogspot.com/). It's the teams blog. I'm not sure how much they will have time to update it due to lack of internet all the time. But when it is I would encourage you to check it out!

This year my younger brother is going back to serve over there till June 28. Almost 5 whole weeks. He is going to be facing a lot of new challenges this year that he didn't have to the last time since this time he is not going as a teacher but as a staff member/piano player for the team. Please pray that Konner and the whole team will draw close to the Lord and rely on his strength. I'm so excited for Konner and all that are going on this trip. It really does change not only the lives of those you serve but also your own life in dramatic ways.

If you would like to reference any of those post about my time on this trip you can by following these links below.

First post: "This means so much to me"
Second post: "Singapore"
Third post: "You too can be apart"
Fourth post: "Second-to-last post about this...Maybe!"

Here are a few of my favorite images from those post.

Friend + Chicago = Fun Day

Do you like me math? I always got good grades when it came to math. Really! It was the only subject I was any good at actually. Okay, actually I was the perfect kid in class who always got good grades in every subject...just once in my dreams. OHHHH, and I knew everything about history. That was a fav of mine. ;)

What to blog today? What to blog today? Man, this question was driving me nuts. I've been working on so much recently and trying to keep up with everything has been hilarious. So I figured I would show off some pictures of my time down in Chicago a couple weekends ago. (Yes, another weekend in Chicago.)

If you see a stranger who looks like he could sit like a genie and take pictures like one too, you should ask him to take a quick picture with your phone so you can keep folks up to date with what's going on on your fan page. Ya know?

The rad image our new found genie friend just took for us. It was great! Just a bunch of us photographer friends taking the day and yucking it up in Chi-town.

Evy Reneè is always a good bet for helping an image turn out right... and the light coming through this church courtyard was just perfect too.

Evy can be a little crazy at times. But it's cool! I'm just saying.

Hey, it's LEAH!

If you are the only guy in the group you get to be the one that takes the group shot photos!! lol. What fun crazy people!

Well, that sad part is that they all had to leave early (meaning before the sun went way down). But I got a text from my buddy ol' pal, Ruthann, letting me know that she and her friend Laurie were in town. So Laura, Blake, and Konner came up to to join us all at the Grand Lux for dinner. It's one of my personal favorite restaurants downtown.

Laurie was pretty stoked about her meal.

It was great times! And I'm so glad for friends and family who truly do make life one big adventure! Thanks guys for one fun packed day!

Cute ring bearer? Better have a cute flower girl too!

Well, it only seems fitting that if we are going to show off the images of the ring bearer the day before we should show some love to the flower girl and give her a turn on the blog too, right? :D Of course, right!

Meet Blanch.

Blanch Loves trains a lot!

While we at the train station doing family portraits a train decided to leave. So Blanch and her daddy, Brad took off running to watch it pull away and wish it luck on it's journey. I'm so glad I decided to
run after them to see what it was they were going ofter. I literally had to run. But what a sweet moment I would have lost between this father and daughter. I just love this! In my mind, this equals Something Amazing!

Have I mentioned that she loves anything that has to do with trains??? lol.

The rest of the family was getting into place to get their picture taken... but she was pretty much always ready for another.

Right before the ceremony would could be better than a quick nap in grandma's arms?

I love this photo. At this point I'm pretty sure their faces say it all. Dude, it's been a long day. Let's get to the party and move on.

I'm pretty sure there is only one place this little girl likes more than to be around trains...
and that would be the dance floor. Talk about stealing the show! She was WAY too cute!
